An anteroseptal contraction disturbance can be visualized echocardiographically in the short axis, two-chamber and four-chamber views. The findings for a patient with anterior wall aneurysm are given as examples in the two-chamber and four-chamber view: a dilated left ventricle is found with an anteroseptal medioapical aneurysm; consequently, globally restricted left ventricular function is already present.
