This patient has had an anterior wall infarction and has a ventriculographically confirmed anterior wall aneurysm; although there is markedly less nuclide present in the immediate cardiac apex region, there is otherwise at best only a limited area of scarring, whereas the rest of the anteroseptal region must still be described as viable.
