Criteria to be regarded in inspection are discoloration of skin (pallor), temperature, mycosis and tissue damage.

Most important inspection criteria:

• Differences in color (pallor, cyanosis, marbling)
• Loss of hair
  
• Trophic disturbances (nails)
  
• Mycosis
• Necrosis
  
• Ulceration
