Highlights

The Academy group consists of three entities: Academy Medical Communication and Education GmbH and Co.KG , founded in 1997 in Cologne, Academy 2 Medical Communication Services GmbH and Co. KG, founded in 2003 and located in Nuremberg (Zirndorf), as well as Academy Verlags GmbH (publication services).
Recognising early on the trend away from purely positioning products, we developed our in-house competencies and offerings in the direction of providing complete disease management services throughout the pharmaceutical industry. Accordingly, today we count as one of the most asked-for full-service agencies, when it comes to complex medical communications and strategic consulting.
Our services range from producing extensive disease management portals, running certified medical education programmes and developing software for medical applications, up to developing and designing materials for sales and marketing support and much more.

Academy educates staff of Roche Diagnostics in Intranet
Since December 10th, the staff of Roche Diagnostics is receiving a further education on “Diabetes Mellitus“ per medical pages on the Intranet. Academy developed these medical pages, on which all facets of diabetes mellitus and its concomitant diseases are introduced and described in detail.

Academy presents STAR® at the Medica congress.
At this year’s Medica congress in Dusseldorf, Academy presented the STAR® study comparison system along with its soon-to-be-released automatic therapy evaluation module (STAR Plus). Especially operators of physicians’ networks and the health insurance industry greeted this with great interest.

Management of Superficial Bladder Cancer now appearing on the homepage of the European Association of Urology
The disease management programme on “Superficial Bladder Cancer”, developed by Academy, is currently appearing as an official course of the European School of Urology on the EAU homepage.
